This recognition is a testament to Heather’s exceptional hard work, dedication, and unwavering commitment to CWCC’s mission and values. She proves we are Stronger Together with her positive attitude and support of others, making her a key player in fostering unity and cooperation across departments. She leads by example, stepping up to support the kitchen team regularly.

“[Heather] really steps up each time the Kitchen Supervisor is out of the office, ensuring everything runs smoothly,” a colleague shared. “Clients will continue to receive exceptional care and nutrition they need even when the team is down a member or two.” Another colleague added, “Her dedication to our mission and her tireless work ethic make her an invaluable member of the team.”

To get to know Heather better, we asked her a few questions:

1. What’s the best piece of career advice you’ve ever received?
   Always make each day count and never bring your personal life to work if you can help it.
   
2. What does being part of the CWCC family mean to you?
   Getting to help people better their lives.
   
3. What’s your go-to way to find calm or focus during busy or overwhelming times?
   Think of my grandbabies – how lucky and blessed I am.
   
4. Who has been the biggest influence in your life, and why?
   I have two … my mom for always being my biggest fan, encouraging me and letting me know how blessed I am. And my dad, for teaching me that no matter what life throws at you, keep going with your head held high.
   
5. What’s your all-time favorite board game or video game?
   Favorite video game is Super Mario Brothers or Dr. Mario.
