CWCC is proud to recognize Haley, Case Manager, as our November Employee of the Month! Haley exemplifies CWCC’s values of Lead with Integrity and Compassion First through her strong work ethic, dedication to clients, and willingness to go above and beyond for her team. As one colleague shared, “She does a huge amount of work for one person. It’s impressive to see how much she accomplishes in a day and the quality of her work.” Haley’s commitment to excellence and care for those she serves make her an outstanding representative of CWCC’s mission and values.
Her peers also admire her dependability and teamwork, noting her readiness to help in any situation. One colleague shared, “Haley has a strong work ethic and is always the first to help out when needed,” while another added, “She has done a lot for the Crisis Stabilization Unit and continues to assist the residential technician team whenever they are short-staffed.” From working late to ensure clients receive services to supporting her coworkers with positivity and skill, Haley’s dedication strengthens both her team and the community she serves.
To get to know Haley better, we asked her a few questions:
- What inspired you to pursue a career in mental and behavioral health services?
Seeing positive changes in the people we help every day reminds me why this work matters. I am able to stay on task by staying organized, setting small goals throughout my shift, and setting a plan at the beginning of each day. Working with a supportive group of coworkers helps keep me focused and motivated every day. - What’s your favorite part of being part of the CWCC team?
I am proud to be a part of an organization where I know that I can go to my coworkers if I have any questions. It is a nice feeling like you can count on your team. - How has working at CWCC influenced your own perspective on mental health and self-care?
I’ve learned you never know who will walk through the door, or what will bring them to need our assistance. It also reminded me that taking care of myself is just as important as caring for others. By setting boundaries and practicing self-care, not mentally taking work home with me, I’m able to stay focused, and give my best support to our clients. - What’s your go-to karaoke song (even if it’s just in the car)?
Ain’t No Mountain High Enough –Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell version - If you had to survive on a deserted island with three items, what would they be?
I would bring a tent, a multitool pocketknife, and a Firestarter.
