At Central, we provide culturally competent individual, family, and group therapy within our agency and in the home, school, and community.

Your entire family can work with one of our therapists and case managers to promote healthy family relationships. Our cutting edge treatment approaches will help you all work through major and minor life concerns to achieve a greater level of life satisfaction.

We offer:

Provided in home or in school, these services are for children under age of 5 and their families to address behavior challenges.

Therapists serve as a resource for teachers and families to address behavioral struggles and conduct classroom observation. They connect families with resources based on individual need.

Central contracts with Natrona County School District #1 to work with children and adolescents grades K-12 who are struggling with behavioral issues that may pose unique challenges both in the classroom and at home. We provide therapists at each school, assuring a safe place for children to meet with a qualified clinician.

Central’s Therapeutic Foster Care (TFC) program is designed for children who are not able to live with their biological family. This program provides treatment in a therapeutic family setting to promote healthy family dynamics and relationships.

Foster parents are provided with intensive, trauma-informed training to educate them on therapeutic parenting techniques, thus helping children discover and enjoy a successful, healthy and productive life.

Central’s Community Based Services are built around children who are at risk due to behavioral health challenges, and would benefit from individual and family therapy. Case management, as needed, provides connections with resources to inform and guide home management.

Our substance abuse residential treatment facility has 12 beds and provides treatment to adolescents.

Depending on client need, we utilize various evaluation measures such as:

  • Initial intake assessment
  • American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM)
  • Bio-psychosocial assessment
  • Withdrawal assessment
  • Comprehensive Health Assessment for Teens (CHAT)

Adolescent Residential Treatment

Central offers a medium length (up to 90 days) residential behavioral health program for adolescents throughout Wyoming.

Staff is trained to work with:

  • Substance use disorders
  • Co-occurring disorders
  • Behavioral health disorders

As adolescents transition out of the residential program, our staff works with their families and referring agencies to ensure adequate support for a successful transition.
